PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, DELTA TECHNOLOGY Shirley Bridges is Chief Information Officer for Delta Air Lines, Inc. and serves as President and Chief Executive Officer for Delta Technology, in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Bridges is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of Delta’s wholly owned subsidiary, Delta Technology. The company, comprised of approximately 1800 people under Ms. Bridges’ direction, oversees all of the airline’s information technology solutions development and support, including the award winning Delta Nervous System. Most recently, Ms. Bridges served as the Chief Operating Officer of Delta Technology. Her responsibilities included: overseeing critical business processes, maintenance and operation of systems and existing architecture and production of corporate report cards. Previously, Ms. Bridges served as Vice President of Airline Operations Systems where she was responsible for managing all software applications in the Technical Operations Center - Maintenance Repair and Overhaul facility, the Operational Control Center, which manages the day to day logistics of the airline, Pilot and Flight Attendant scheduling and communications, and Corporate Compliance and Safety reporting systems. Ms. Bridges has more than 30 years of project management and information technology experience. She joined Delta’s IT department in 1990 as senior project manager. During her time with Delta and Delta Technology, she has served as director-Finance Systems, and director-ERP Systems and Large Systems Engineering. Prior to joining Delta Technology, Ms. Bridges held positions with Bridgehaus, Inc. and Norfolk Southern Railroad. Ms. Bridges received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Clark Atlanta University and holds a master’s degree in project management from George Washington University. She resides in Jonesboro, Georgia.
